A 32-year-old man with HIV has experienced a range of problems recently related to very heavy use of crystal methamphetamine. Difficulties have included major adherence problems with antiretroviral medications, loss of his job due to aggressive outbursts, and breakup with his long-term partner. He is feeling somewhat despondent and open to hearing about any type of treatment for his amphetamine use disorder.
