Getting Started

How to Use Site: Users of this site have two major options while working on this site.  If you simply want to browse materials on the site, you do not need to log in.  If you want to keep track of  of your progress as you work through the online course, you will need to register for a new account (see the Log In box on the home page). In addition, obtaining CME or CNE credit requires that you have gone through the process of registering for a new account. To see a summary of your progress on the site, click on the color-coded Progress Tracker at the bottom of the page. Once  you have registered for an account, return visits to the site simpy require you to Log In as a Resistered User, and you can pick up where you left off. For organizations wishing to register multiple users together as a group, see the feature Organization/ Group Account. 

Options for CME: At the end of each lesson, you will be prompted to take  the lesson quiz and you will be given the option to claim CME credit. If you do not wish to claim CME credit, your percentage of correct answers will be recorded in the Progress Tracker and you will be directed to the next learning activity.  For those choose the option to claim CME credit, your percentage of correct answers will be recorded in the Progress Tracker, but if you have answered less than 80% of the qizz questions correctly, then you will be given the option to retake the lesson quiz.  After successfully answering 80% or more of the questions, you can then claim your CME credit.  The first time you claim CME credit, you will be prompted to take a brief mandatory survey, but this survey will not be required for subsequent CME activity.
