Histoplasma capsulatum is a dimorphic fungus that can cause symptomatic localized or disseminated disease in persons with advanced HIV. Dr. Aley Kalapila discusses prevention measures as well as clinical manifestations, evaluation, and treatment of histoplasmosis for people with HIV.
